Help protect Bia and our forests
Forest is part of what makes Western North. Here is how anyone can help keep it.

Bia National Park and the forest reserves around it are among the last large stretches of rainforest in Ghana. Farming, logging and illegal mining keep pushing into them.
You can help. Report illegal mining to the police or your local assembly. Buy timber and furniture from licensed sources. Plant and protect trees on farms, at school and around the house. When you visit Bia, follow the park rules.
